There were eighteen (18) who gathered @ Ted's Montana Grill this Sunday (12/5/10). This was a double occasion because this place only opened in Boulder two (2) months ago and it was James Townsend's birthday.

The Rating this place got is one of our highest yet, and given the number of people who attended it is the HIGHEST rating any restaurant has gotten on the Sunday Evening Eats ventures.

You cannot go wrong going to Ted's Montana Grill on Pearl Street. Take your friends and family, tell strangers! This is a great place and we can't wait to go back with a smaller group just to sit in one of their booth's and indulge in another BISON Burger. WOW!

Thanksgiving Potluck 2010

Thirty (30) people showed up for Thanksgiving dinner @ our house (Roland & Caswell) on Thanksgiving Day. We served Turkey (Two of them) and two prime roast beef AND everyone brought their MOST favorite Turkey Day side dish.

The food was glorious BUT the company was spectacular.

It was one of the those RARE times when you have many unrelated people and many did not know each other at all, show up and the group had a wonderful time. Many people made some new acquaintances and everyone stayed ALL day long. How many family gatherings keep everyone together ALL day long?

Some people watched a Christmas movie on the Slick Rock Theater Movie Screen, while others kept eating and talking. A good time was had by all!

• Approximately 60 people showed up for the Sunday Evening Eats Halloween Dance-A-Thon on Saturday October 30^th
• People invited their friends, so the majority of faces there were NEW
• There were parties of people who joined in the BIG party!
• I had a BLAST, and many people told me the same! We danced HARD, drank the beer and gulped the wine.
• May people walked over the Boulder Mall Halloween Crawl and then back to the party.
• Downtown was popping and so were we!
• The Masonic Lodge was a GREAT space for the party……everyone agreed.
• We would suggest hosting your next LARGE party there-they have a kitchen, large dance area + plenty of room for tables and chairs (which they supply).
• Our DJ Mike McKean was downloading music directly online when he got requests…..we danced the 70’s 80’s 90’s and NOW according to requests.
• He did a terrific job and everyone got to enjoy their brand of dancing music. WE ALL DANCED TOGETHER!
• Kathy McKean (Mike’s wife) supplied the white wine…we polished off several cases and it was delicious.
• Sloppy Joe burgers were a hit Plus plenty of bottled water served from our European Toilet on stage. TRAILER TRASH Theme remember!?
• Many thanks to everyone who attended….a good time was had by all and it was in the spirit of SEE to see so many NEW Faces.

8.22.10. Rating Tangiers Morrocan Restaurant: Triple GOLD STAR!

Hey Everyone

• Last week’s SEE event was an overwhelming success!
• There were fifty (50) of us who OWNED the place
• The owner provided us with a seven (7) course meal for the price of a five (5) course meal-WOW!
• The food was delicious-chicken, lamb, unusual sweet and salty dishes you have never experienced before
• Chocolate Baklava with strawberries. Fresh rolls that were HOT with butter/honey spreads, on and on it went
• The belly dancer was beautiful and extremely talented
• She danced-we ALL got up and danced…..the place was on fire with belly dancers…the tips were flying.
• What a night! We were seated ALL around the restaurant-on the floor and in seats with delicious comfortable pillows to lean against when our BELLYS got so full we could not sit up straight.
• This place is WONDERFUL and we ALL highly recommend it for your next group get together-have B-Day party, family reunion, any kind of business meeting/meal, office party, or an intimate meal for two. This place is a JEWEL and hidden from the Boulder restaurant madness. It is family run and FUN FUN FUN!

This was the BEST rating we have ever given a place. The best way to describe the Tangiers is FUN! We danced, laughed, talked, and had a great time with the hosts of the restaurant. I would recommend to go here with a group of four (4) or more people, because the time we had was based on a group experience. There were couples in the place and they got up to dance with us as well....if you like this type of cuisine then an intimate dinner of two would be enjoyable as well. We rocked the place with a group and the Tangier host ROCKED US!

If you are celebrating a birthday with friends GO HERE! The Moroccan birthday celebration is a hoot and something you WILL NOT experience anywhere else in Boulder! Don't miss it..............

Results for The California Pizza Kitchen and SEE (5/23/10).

• There were 18 of us who attending SEE at this restaurant on Sunday (5/23/10)
• We had a large table in the Middle of the place and Everyone had a wonderful time.
• Plenty of cross-talking from one table-side to the other and multi-generational attendees from 17 to 71 years of age.
• It was fun and heartening to see allot of communications without cell phones or texting!

• We met at The Cork Restaurant @ 6:00PM...we had our own room and sat at a square table
• It was cool because everyone was able to speak and hear with everyone-lots of cross-talk

4.0 is a GOOD rating for a restaurant, so this was very close. This was an interesting configuration because the price was very LOW (too expensive) but the other factors brought UP the rating. So if price is NOT your only factor...then The Cork due to other elements is a good bet for your night out for dinner.

Thirty Five people Enjoyed Easter (4/4/10) Brunch at our home

• We supplied ham and pork roast while everyone else brought delicious side treats.
• You bring your favorite side-dish and a beverage
• The brunch started around 2:00PM.....Chatting and laughter was abundant
• We had a SURPRISE movie: Sherlock Holmes later in the day. The Slick Rock Theater was full.
• This was an opportunity for those who LOVE SEE (Sunday Evening Eats) folks, to re-meet again and just have a nice time and to enjoy the day
• We host major holiday's at our house-fun times had by all
